Edi
Captain Edi was born in 1982 in Pula, Croatia, and developed an affection with the sea when he was 2 years old as he would sail Kvarner archipelago with his dad on a daily basis. As he worked his way up through skippering bareboat yachts, working as flotilla lead skipper, and organizing and running skipper courses to get himself to working as a captain on crewed yachts he says that his biggest achievement in the last 13 years is keeping the same love for the job that he's so passionate about. Meeting new people while getting them to know local history traditions, unique cuisine Dalmatian way of life is his expertise. His knowledge, extensive experience, patience, and calm personality create a unique atmosphere on the yacht that help you feel relaxed and make the most out of your holidays. Other hobbies Edi prefers are basketball and fitness.
Ana
After finishing maritime technologies university, my ideal career was on a yacht. I love to sail and meet new people and see new places. Combining the whole experience with food that I learned mostly on the lap of my Dalmatian parents, is really a dream come true, and I hope to put all the Croatian experience through taste on a plate for all our guests. While being The Moorings crew, I enjoy most the fact that the guests are having the best vacation they can have, and I have been part of that experience. The destination we are in – Croatia, has so much to offer, and every time being onboard offers a different perspective to every little town and bay. Mediterranean cuisine has always been a passion of mine – learning about it from my Nona, so I prefer the hearty, homemade dishes that are meant for sharing, so that is the experience I’d like our guests to enjoy as well.

Amazing sailing and sights. Edi and Ana our Croatian crew, we’re skilled, professional and so personable. Travelled with 2 other couples, long term friends of ours. The boat was 50 footer with seating on top that was lovely. We sailed to Stari grad, Hvar, and Vis. Wonderful gorgeous towns and experiences - blue cave, Stari grad noble man’s house. While sailing we swam, some snorkeled, just a great way to catch up. Edi and Ana were our captain and cook. Edi was both skillful and possessed quintessential Croatian humor. Ana accommodated different diet restrictions, such great food.
