Luca and Georgia have been working and living together on commercial and private boats in Australia, the Pacific, and the Mediterranean for over seven years. Their desire to run sailing charters came from cruising their own sailboat along the Western Australian coastline. They love to share their passion for sailing, the liveaboard lifestyle, and the marine environment with others, providing tailored and unforgettable experiences.
Luca Luca is an experienced, service and safety orientated captain. Approachable and calm in nature, but a stickler for keeping his vessel running like a well-oiled machine (literally!). He thrives on working with guests to curate unique itineraries, providing safe and comfortable passages to their ideal anchorages. A natural teacher, Captain Sugar (as he is fondly known), enjoys putting guests behind the helm and has a way of explaining technical terms in a way anyone can understand. Full of stories and a cheeky sense of humour, he will make everyone feel welcome and comfortable onboard. Italian in origin, from the famous wine region of Piedmont, Captain Sugar expertly pairs drinks with dishes to compliment the flavours from his partner Georgia’s galley. Having spent over a decade in Australia, he loves starting up the BBQ on the back of the boat and sharing a laugh like a true Aussie larrikin.
Georgia Having lived on the ocean for over seven years, Georgia enjoys showcasing local seafood, fished, and foraged from the waters she sails. Italian influence from her partner Luca (Captain Sugar) and time spent sailing the Mediterranean, shapes the tasty dishes served up from her galley. Georgia loves to wow guests with pretty plating and fresh flavours. If not in the galley, look up! You might find Georgia climbing the mast to get her famous ‘up-the-mast group photo’. Or look down, she’ll be underwater with a snorkel or surfing a wave when those northerly swells roll in. Georgia loves sharing her passion for sailing and the marine environment, teaching the ropes onboard, and guiding water sports and snorkels. Working alongside Luca, the watertight team ensures all guests will experience the joys of the liveaboard lifestyle and the calm of life afloat, with time to create lasting memories that can only be made on the water.
